Gartner: Critical Capabilities for IT Service Catalog
Published only twice (2012 & 2014), Gartner’s Critical Capabilities for IT Service Catalog report ranks top vendors providing IT service catalogs. The report assesses IT service catalog tools by evaluating the capabilities critical to the successful implementation, support and utilization of IT service catalogs for IT I&O organizations, as well as for business users requesting IT services.

Forrester Research: Master the Service Catalog Solution Landscape In 2013
Published in July 2013, Forrester reviewed the service catalog landscape with special focus on maturity levels of organizations, noting that different automation tools are required as companies become more sophisticated, shifting from IT to BT (Business Technology).
