Connectors

Connectors are plug-ins to the PMG Digital Business Platform. They are purpose-built collections of drag & drop integration actions that perform work, provision, and move data to and from a target system. They integrate to fully supported vendor and product-specific APIs.

There are currently over 45 Connectors available. Common connector examples include Active Directory (for provisioning AD objects like creating a user account) and various ITSM tool connectors such as Service-now and BMC Remedy (for creating incidents, problems, and changes). Connectors generally provide two-way integration into ERP, HR, CRM, ITSM, as well as IT and cloud provisioning/automation tools. A sampling of available out-of-the-box connectors are listed below.

Generic Actions

To fully support integration requirements, PMG leverages Data Providers and drag & drop integration and script actions within the PMG Workflow Designer. All actions have configurable properties so that data can be passed to and from other systems. Common examples include ODBC, Command Shell, Run Script, Invoke Web Service, and .NET Code.
